A 1969 Swiss coin necklace featuring the Swiss cross on a coin with the number 2 and a piece of wheat on the reverse. The chain is a hand cut brass cable chain finished with a lobster claw clasp. Since the coin has been circulated it shows its own unique and beautiful patina with wear marks and oxidation (darkening). I have done a bit of polishing of the coin to remove some of the patina and expose the copper finish. Different chain lengths are available at checkout. See all photos for details.
The chain and clasp used for the necklace are from dead stock (never used vintage stock) making this necklace an environmentally friendly piece of jewelry. It makes a great gift for someone born in 1969 or anyone who is a fan of Switzerland. The necklace will arrive gift boxed in an E. Ria Designs jewelry box.
