A unique one-of-a-kind vintage coin necklace featuring a 2 pence (new pence) coin. This British (England, Great Britain) coin features a fleur de lis style arrangement of three features placed in a crown on the obverse (featured) side and a silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II on the reverse. On each side of the crown are the German words "Ich Dien" meaning "I serve". The chain is a brass curb chain that closes with a brass lobster claw clasp. The coin has been circulated so there are evident markings from its long life. I have cleaned and polished the coin to expose the lovely patina and shine the relief.
