I have selected, clean, and polished genuine U.S. vintage pennies - commonly known as "wheat pennies" for their wheat sheaf motif on the reverse of the coin. I handcraft this charm in my studio in the American Midwest. Choose the date for your coin charm at checkout or select the "any date" if you do not have a particular year you prefer. Each charm is made to order and will arrive gift boxed - ready for giving or storage. Enjoy!

CHOOSE SIDE FOR FRONT OF PENDANT CHARM: You will need to select a side to be featured on your charm. There is the Abraham Lincoln side with the date or the wheat sheaf side that reads "One Cent". Please select one. And note that this necklace is not reversible since the opposing side of the featured side is upside-down.

So, if you order a 1943, there is no other metal to receive other than the steel alloy color. The need for copper during WWII forced the US mint to switch to this more abundant metal source for pennies during 1943.
